Bid - Ready-Mix Concrete

The purpose of this bid is to establish a contract to provide ready-mix concrete to the City of Tuscaloosa on an as needed basis. Ready-mix concrete will be delivered to City work crews at various locations in the city. <br /> <br />There shall be no delivery or minimum load charge for orders of four (4) cubic yards or more. Bid prices shall be inclusive of all delivery, environmental, fuel, and other additional fees, with the exception of minimum load charges for orders of less than four (4) cubic yards (if applicable). No additional charges or fees of any kind will apply.<br /> <br />The City will award this bid to a Primary bidder. If possible, an award will also be made to a Secondary bidder to be used in the event the Primary bidder is unable to provide an item within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the City. The Secondary bidder shall be obligated to all applicable terms and conditions contained herein. By submitting a bid, all bidders agree to become Secondary bidder if determined as such by the City. <br /> <br />The awarded bidder must be able to provide delivery within a 24-hour period after receiving an order from the City. <br />

RFQ for Pre-event Contract for Disaster Debris Monitoring Services

The City of Tuscaloosa requests proposals from experienced and qualified professional firms to enter into a Pre-event Contract for Disaster Debris Monitoring Services following a manmade or natural disaster (RFQ OCA-23-0996). In the event of activation of the contract with the Consultant firm, the Consultant shall provide monitoring services of the clean­up, demolition, removal, reduction and disposal of debris resulting from a natural or manmade disaster as directed by the City and in accordance with the guidelines set forth by the City of Tuscaloosa, Tuscaloosa County EMA, Alabama Emergency Management Agency (AEMA) The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), and applicable Federal laws and regulations.<br /> <br />Proposals are due in electronic format by 2:00 PM local time (Tuscaloosa, Alabama) on April 12, 2024. Firms are required to follow the instructions contained in the City’s RFQ document. To obtain a copy of the RFQ for these services visit the City of Tuscaloosa website at www.tuscaloosa.com/bids.
