Apply Fertilizer to Levees - Upper St. Johns River Basin

The District is seeking an award to a Contractor that can provide all labor, equipment and material necessary to spread bulk fertilizer on District levees in the Upper St. Johns River Basin.(Indian River, Brevard and Osceola Counties). The objective of this project is to maintain a healthy stand of rooted grass on the steep slopes to prevent erosion and discourage weed encroachment on District.<br /> <br />Fertilizer material shall be applied on approximately 360 acres at 230 pounds per acre in the spring 2024. The applications should be completed by June 21, 2024.<br />Respondent must submit its response either by (1) uploading to Demandstar or Central Bidding OR (2) delivered by email to

Each culvert shall be reinforced with a high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe culvert sleeve inserted with a low-density cellular grouting application to correct culvert leakage. Palm Bay Service Center Office Buildout

The District’s Palm Bay Service Center Administrative Building is a 32,500 square foot office building that consist of both offices and cubical space. The objective is to create additional office space within two areas as outlined in red on Exhibit 1 – Floor Plan.<br /> <br />1) The COMPLIANCE area currently has four (4) cubical workstations with windows. The goal of this area is to add divider walls to create new offices and store front glass to the hallway side of the newly constructed offices. <br /><br />2) The COMPUTERS/PLOTTERS area is currently a single large room with one entrance way and three (3) cubicles. The goal of this area is to divide the room into three (3) individual offices and add two (2) doors. Summit Blvd Drainage Improvements, 12th Avenue to Firestone Drive

<div style="text-align: center;"><br />SUMMIT BOULEVARD DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS<br />12TH AVENUE TO FIRESTONE DRIVE<br /> <br />SCOPE OF WORK</div> <div style="text-align: justify;">This project is intended to improve storm drainage along Summit Boulevard at the intersection of Summit and Piedmont Road. Work will include the excavation of a new stormwater retention pond on the north side of Summit Boulevard and will include the removal of several existing shrubs and the protection of multiple trees within the pond area. A “Type C Ditch Bottom Inlet with Skimmer” will be installed at the east end of the retention facility and will connect to the existing storm drain inlet by RCP shown in the construction plans. The 18-inch RCP will be located beneath existing utilities as shown in the plans.<br /> <br />Additionally, 4 curb inlets will be installed at the Summit-Piedmont intersection. The eastmost inlet will replace an existing manhole located in the sidewalk. The inlets will take in additional water flowing downhill towards Piedmont Road. All new or renovated structures will be connected to existing stormwater infrastructure. The project will require MOT for work performed in or near the right-of-way. The City shall be notified 24 hours at minimum prior to any changes in the traffic pattern including road, lane closures, and sidewalk closures.<br /> <br />The contractor is responsible for the protection of existing utilities and infrastructure located below ground level, and additional utility locates may be necessary during construction.<br /> <br />The pond area will be sodded once the pond has been excavated to final depth, and disturbed grass areas will be re-sodded.<br /> <br />Any facilities unrelated to this project that are damaged or destroyed during the project will be restored at the contractor’s expense.<br /> <br />The city will perform inspections during the project, and work shall be approved by the city inspector.<br /> <br />All work shall be in accordance with the standards and specifications provided by the City of Pensacola.</div>
