The FPLOS evaluation includes development of basin-wide adaptation strategies and mitigation projects aimed at maintaining or enhancing the level of flood protection. The study results will serve as a valuable resource used by the District, local governments, and other state and federal agencies to identify areas where improvements to the design and operation of water management facilities and local stormwater infrastructure can be implemented to alleviate future flooding.

The objective of this solicitation is to engage the professional services of an engineering firm to provide the design, permitting, and related services during bidding and construction for the Apopka-Beauclair Lock and Dam Expansion and Rehabilitation Project located in Lake County, Florida. The project includes preliminary data collection, alternatives analysis, design, permitting and services during bidding and construction for the Apopka-Beauclair Lock and Dam Expansion and Rehabilitation.
