The St. Johns River Water Management District (District) is conducting a detailed analysis of the Upper Ocklawaha River Basin (UORB) regional and local water management infrastructure. The FPLOS evaluation includes development of basin-wide adaptation strategies and mitigation projects aimed at maintaining or enhancing the level of flood protection. The study results will serve as a valuable resource used by the District, local governments, and other state and federal agencies to identify areas where improvements to the design and operation of water management facilities and local stormwater infrastructure can be implemented to alleviate future flooding.
