REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Debris Management and Monitoring Services

City of Baker (herein referred to as the "Owner") hereby solicits sealed proposals for Debris Management and Monitoring Services described as follows:
STATEMENT OF WORK: Disaster Debris Monitoring Services related to natural disasters and emergency events in order to deal with the consequences of major storm events, man-made events, and/or other related weather or natural event occurrences.
The City of Baker will begin receiving proposals for Disaster Debris – “Monitoring Services.” Sealed proposals in accordance with all applicable standards shall be addressed to the City of Baker and delivered to the City of Baker’s Mayor’s Office, at 3325 Groom Rd, Baker, LA 70714, by no later than 2:00 p.m. CST on Tuesday, August 20, 2019. Any proposal received after the specified time and date will not be considered. The sealed proposals will be publically opened and read aloud at 2:00 p.m. on the 20th Day of August 20, 2019 at Baker City Hall Council Chambers located at 3325 Groom Road, Baker, LA 70714.
The City of Baker has chosen the method of plan distribution to be via hard copies of the plans and specifications pursuant to LA R.S. 38:2212 as available through the office of the Mayor.
Proposal instructions may be obtained from Ashley Batts, Purchasing Agent, at the City of Baker, 3325 Groom Road, Baker, LA. or by calling the City of Baker at 225-778-0300 on Monday through Thursday between the hours of 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
Interested firms must submit one original and five (5) copies of their Proposals to the City, c/o Mayor’s Office, 3325 Groom Road, Baker, LA 70714.
Pursuant to the Louisiana Revised Statute, vendors/contractors now have the option to submit their proposals and proposal bonds, electronically. Official Electronic Proposal Documents are available at Central Bidding. Central Bidding can be accessed at www.centralbidding.com. For questions related to the electronic proposal process, please call Central Bidding at 800-990-9339. To view proposals, download, and receive proposal notices by email, your company/agency will need to register at www.centralbidding.com prior to the deadline.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all proposals for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes.
In accordance with R.S. 38:2212 (A)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements stated in the Proposal Documents shall not be waived by any entity.
Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U. S. Department of Treasury Circular 570.
No proposer may withdraw his/her proposal within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
