NOTICE TO PROPOSERS
Notice is hereby given that sealed and electronic REQUESTS FOR PROPOSALS will be received by the St. Landry Parish Solid Waste Disposal District,
(hereinafter referred to as either "Owner" or "District"), until 4:30 p.m. on the 22nd day of September 2021 at the St. Landry Parish Solid Waste District's
Meeting Room, 417 Solid Waste Rd. Washington, Louisiana 70589.
COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL OF RESIDENTIAL SOLID
WASTE IN ST. LANDRY PARISH, LOUISIANA
at which time proposals will be opened at the specified time. Proposals received after the above specified time will not be accepted and will be returned unopened.
The service covered by this Contract is for the collection and disposal of solid waste from residential units within all areas of the Parish. The Contractor
shall also offer the same service at the same cost per unit to all light commercial units within the Parish.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on September 13, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at the
St. Landry Parish Solid Waste Meeting Room, 417 Solid Waste Rd. Washington, Louisiana 70589, and will also be available electronically by Zoom Meeting.
Copies of the bid documents may be obtained at the St. Landry Parish Solid Waste Disposal District’s office, at, 417 Solid Waste Rd. Opelousas, LA 70589
upon payment of $50.00 to the District for each set non-refundable and covering the cost of reproduction.
Proposer shall meet all requirements contained in the Instruction to Proposers under Article 3, Section 1.
The District shall be the sole judge of the proposer's qualifications.
The St. Landry Parish Solid Waste Disposal District reserves the right to disqualify any and all bids and to choose the most advantageous proposal.
