NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS:
 
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of Supervisors of Scott County, Mississippi at the Scott County Courthouse, Forest, Mississippi, until 10:00 a.m. on the 6th day of May, 2019 and shortly thereafter publicly opened for the replacement of deficient bridges with new structures and approaches – Site A – Precast Concrete Bridge with HMA Approaches and Site B – Precast Concrete Bridge with HMA Approaches being known as Project No. ERBR-BR-0062(17)B in Scott County, Mississippi. 
 
CONTRACT TIME: 110 Working Days
 
BASIS OF AWARD:
 
The Board of Supervisors hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, minority business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color or national origin in consideration for an award.
 
OFFICIAL BID DOCUMENTS may be secured from either of the following locations:
 
        1.  Kevin C. Thompson, Engineer for Scott County, Mississippi at 1724B 23rd Avenue, Meridian, MS 39301.
             The cost is twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for plans and twenty-five dollars ($25.00) for the proposal, non-refundable.
 
        2.  Download from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com . Electronic bids can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com.

Certified check or bid bond for five percent (5%) of the total bid, made payable to Scott County and the State of Mississippi must accompany each proposal.
 
Bidders are hereby notified that any proposal accompanied by letters qualifying in any manner the condition under which the proposal is tendered will be considered an irregular bid and such proposal will not be considered in making the award.
