ELECTRONIC BIDS for the construction of the “Hurricane Ida Damage Repairs to Galliano Government Complex” consisting of the following:
 
Selective demolition of interior framing, corrections to site paving, striping of parking lot, replacement of monumental sign, new building signage, new site lighting, repointing of some exterior masonry wall areas, cleaning and coating of all exterior masonry walls, and new entry soffit. Interior work includes adding plumbing fixtures to library restrooms, new gypsum board & insulation on existing metal stud partitions, new partitions, interior storefront systems, flooring, ceiling, doors, casework, electrical and mechanical system. FF&E for the library is included as an allowance. 
will be received electronically by the Lafourche Government until 2:00 P.M. local time, on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at which time bids will be retrieved from the Central Auction House (CAH) website and read aloud at the Lafourche Parish Government Complex, 402 Green Street, Thibodaux, LA 70301. Only electronic bids submitted on www.centralbidding.com will be accepted.

To view these, download, receive bid notices by e-mail, and submit the bid you must register with Central Auction House (CAH). Vendors/Contractors must submit their bids electronically. A Pre-Bid Conference shall be held on Thursday, August 15, 2024, at 10:00 A.M. at the Galliano Government Complex, 16241 E. Main Street, Cut Off, Louisiana, 70345. The pre-bid conference will be conducted to discuss the Plans, Specifications, and project requirements.
 
The Bidding Documents, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Bid Form, Bid Bond, Agreement, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Special Conditions, Payment Bond, Performance bond, Notice of Award, Notice to Proceed, Drawings, Specifications and Addenda may be examined at the following locations:

Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2163 for the classification of BUILDING CONSTRUCTION.
 
The Owner requires that each bidder attach to his bid a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond equivalent to 5% of the total bid as evidence of good faith of the bidder. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Circular 570.
 
No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof except as provided by law.
 
Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact Lafourche Parish Government no later than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.
