IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENTS Bid Law Requirement Update: Act 406 Electronic Bond Submission May Be Required
Vendors will be required to submit certain documentation with bid submission, i.e. affidavits, proof of insurance, etc. These requirements will be outlined specifically in the instructions of each bid package. Vendors should continue to carefully read and respond accordingly per the requirements of the bid packages. These changes are pursuant Louisiana Public Bid Law more specifically, Act 406 of the 2016 Louisiana Legislative Regular Session. If the bid documents require a surety, vendors submitting responses to Jefferson Parish through this site must submit an electronic bond through the respective online clearinghouse bond management system(s).

LA #11950 3183 Terrace Ave Slidell, La 70458 [email protected] Scope of work: 1) Furnish and install approx. 100’ 4” EMT raceway w/ 4-500 MCM copper conductors and 4/0 ground above ceiling from MDP in electrical room to a new docking Station. 2) Relocate 3 existing breakers/feeders in existing MDP to accommodate the new Generator breaker/cam locks (Extend existing feeders as required to new breaker locations. 3) Furnish and install a new 400amp L frame breaker in existing board MDP 4) Furnish and install new Kirk key system for new generator breaker to be interlocked with the existing 800amp Main breaker in MDP (This system is engineered, installed and tested by Square D field services in order to properly function and maintain UL ratings) 5) Furnish and install a new 400amp feeder from MDP to a Generator docking station mounted on exterior wall near corridor exit at back of building. 6) Furnish and install a 400amp 277/480v plus ground Generator docking station w/ 5 camlock connections. 7) Furnish and install a phenolic signage on generator docking station indicating phase rotation/voltage required from generator source. 8) Perform Meggar testing on feeders and demonstration of Kirk key operation upon completion. 9) Portions of Item #1 and all work associated with items 2, 3 & 4 shall be performed on a Saturday.
