Notice is hereby given that a sealed Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will be received by the Lafayette Parish School Board Purchasing Department, located at 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, Louisiana, 70508.  Delivery to any other department other than the Purchasing Department is unacceptable and may result in non-consideration of the proposal.  Statement of Qualifications will be received until January 18, 2018, 2:00 p.m. CST for:

 RFQ# 57-18
 
RFQ# 57-18 requests statement of qualifications from qualified architectural firms to develop a building program and plans and specifications for a classroom wing addition (s) to remove portable buildings at each of the specified school sites.  Scope may also include renovations to the core areas of these school sites (restroom facilities, cafeterias, libraries and administrative areas). A professional services contract will be awarded for each school site. 
 
An RFQ package may be obtained from the Purchasing Department of the Lafayette Parish School System located at 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, LA  70508 or on the Purchasing Department website at www.lpssonline.com/purchasing.  RFQ information may also be viewed online, and electronic qualifications may be submitted online at www.centralauctionhouse.com.  Specifications will be available on Thursday, December 21, 2017.
 
At the above stated date and time, only the names of the qualification respondents will be read aloud in the Personnel Conference Room.
 
The Lafayette Parish School System strongly encourages the participation of minority business enterprises in all contracts or procurements let by the Board for goods and services. To that end, all contractors and suppliers are encouraged to utilize minority business enterprises in the purchase or sub-contracting of materials, supplies, and services in which minority owned businesses are available.
