REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

     Sealed proposals for Collection and Disposal of Residential Solid Waste will be received by the
     Pointe Coupee Parish Police Jury at 160 East Main Street, Courthouse Annex Building, New
     Roads, Louisiana until 2:00 p.m. on Monday, February 13, 2017 and then at said office publicly
     opened and read. Prospective bidders should consider and include cost and services required for
     once and twice a week collections.

        Any BIDDER sending his PROPOSAL by mail should address it to:

        New Roads, LA 70760

        A CONTRACT resulting from the requested PROPOSALS shall be accompanied by a
        PERFORMANCE BOND in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the first year
        of the CONTRACT and must be in a form acceptable to the OWNER'S  attorney.
        SURETIES used for obtaining BONDS must appear as acceptable on U.S. Dept. of
        Treasury Circular 570.

     Only the PROPOSALS of contractors and/or subcontractors licensed under Act 113 of the 1964
     Louisiana Legislature will be considered.  Contractors desiring to  BID  shall  submit to the
     OWNER evidence that they hold license of proper classification and in full force and effect.
     PROPOSALS must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "Proposals — Collection and
     Disposal of Residential Solid Waste."
