PUBLIC NOTICEINVITATION TO BID – ASCENSION PARISH SHERIFF’S OFFICE –AUDIO/VIDEO RECORDING SYSTEM FOR INTERVIEW ROOMS
The Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office will be accepting sealed bids for the following:
A network-based audio/video recording system designed for four (4) interview rooms recording frame-by-frame, synchronized audio and video. This will allow the law enforcement user to quickly launch sessions, catalog them with data, and search and retrieve recordings – all from a secure desktop computer. The system will be recording interviews with suspects, victims and witnesses and deployable in police interrogation applications. The system must be an IP base-design including IP video cameras. The system software must run in a virtual environment on existing windows server supplied by the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Department.

There will be a mandatory
site visit/walk-through for interested bidders on Friday, April 29, 2016 at
10:00 a.m. at the Ascension Parish Courthouse – East, 828 S. Irma Blvd., Gonzales, LA.
The successful bidder must supply documentation that the bidder is licensed and insured. Bidder must also provide any and all permits, materials and labor associated with the project.
Bids will be opened on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, Parish Courthouse, 300 Houmas Street, Suite E, Donaldsonville, Louisiana.
All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked “Sealed Bid for Audio/Video Recording System.”
Bids may be delivered to the Ascension Parish Sheriff’s Office, Parish Courthouse, 300 Houmas Street, Suite E, Donaldsonville, Louisiana or mailed to P.O. Box 268, Donaldsonville, LA 70346, in time for the bid opening. Business hours at the Donaldsonville location are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
