Sealed Bids will be received by Office of Procurement – City of Gulfport until 10:00 a.m. CST on October 22, 2021 at the Hardy Building located at 1410 24th Avenue, Gulfport, MS 39501 for:

Bids received after 10:00 a.m. CST will not be accepted or opened.

Technical specifications are being made available via Plan House Printing. Plan Holders are required to register and order bid documents at www.phbidding.co. (NOTE: The web extension is “CO” not “COM). Cost to obtain documents is non-refundable and must be purchased through the website. The City of Gulfport now offers Electronic Bidding. Official bid documents can be downloaded from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com. Electronic bids and/or reverse auction bids can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com. For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814.
Proposal shall be submitted on Bid Forms provided with the specifications. Bids may be submitted in person or, for those interested, bids can be electronically submitted at www.phbidding.co. (NOTE: The web extension is “CO” not “COM) under the project name. No oral, telegraphic, telephonic, or e-mail proposals will be considered. The outside of each sealed envelope containing a proposal, shall be plainly marked “Bert Jones Harbor Pavilions and Lighthouse – Lighting Upgrades and Replacements – Gulfport, Mississippi”.
The City is NOT responsible for bids which are mailed to the wrong address or which arrive in the mail after the designated bid opening time. Bids may be delivered in person to the Office of Procurement prior to the bid opening at the time, date and location listed above.
The successful bidder must adhere to the City’s policy concerning non-discrimination without regard to race, creed, color, age, sex, national origin or handicap.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
Direct contact with any City employee, GRC Commissioners, including Administration and City Council, on the subject of this proposal is strictly forbidden. Violation of this paragraph will result in disqualification of your submission.
The Contract will be awarded to the lowest, best and acceptable bidder, except that the City of Gulfport reserves the right to waive any informality in the bidding and to reject any and all bids.
