Sealed Proposals will be received until the hour of 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, in the St. Bernard Parish Government Office of the Department of Public Works, located at 1125 East St. Bernard Highway, Chalmette, Louisiana for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, etc. and performing all work necessary for:
Grass Cutting Services
Phase I
St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana
 
Grass Cutting services consist of mowing, litter and trash collection on state roadways at Highway 39 Alexander to Palmisano Boulevard and Highway 39 Palmisano Boulevard to
Violet Bridge on rights of ways and roadway shoulders.
 
To be a valid delivery, Sealed Proposals must be delivered electronic by Central Bidding or by hand to St. Bernard Parish Government, Department of Public Works, 1125 East St. Bernard Highway, Chalmette, Louisiana during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday on or before 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, May 14, 2024.
 
Sealed Proposals delivered to any other St. Bernard Parish Government location or other room number prior to the proposal receipt deadline will not be considered.
 
 The State of Louisiana through the Department of Transportation and Development authorizes St. Bernard Parish Government to maintain right of ways and roadway shoulders on state roadways.  The primary intent of this Request for Proposal is to obtain a contract for the following services relating to right of ways and roadway shoulders owned by the State of Louisiana: 
Written assessment of existing property conditions and recommendations for grass cutting
Establishing a grass cutting schedule and tracking system
Litter and debris removal and disposal
Grass cutting, removal of clippings
Report any deficiencies on right of ways and roadway shoulders 
The Request for Proposals package is on file and open for inspection at the St. Bernard Parish Government, Department of Public Works, 1125 East St. Bernard Highway, Chalmette, Louisiana 70043 (504) 278-4314. Packages may be secured from the office between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday or requested by e-mail at [email protected].
