The Parish of Ascension hereby issues a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) to retain an Architect/Engineering firm licensed in the State of Louisiana and authorized under Louisiana Statues to perform the professional services sought by this Request for Qualifications (RFQ). Qualifications will be received by the Ascension Parish Government at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, 615 E. Worthey Street, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 (mailing address PO Box 2392, Gonzales, LA 70707-2392) until, August 8, 2017, at 04:00 p.m. local time.
Ascension Parish Fire Protection District #1 is seeking a professional architect or engineering consultant to work closely with the Fire Board and Fire Department Administration to design fire stations based on the needs of individual departments that will be conducting business from this facility.
This project includes the master planning, needs assessment and design of new fire stations in Geismar, Sorrento, and a substation in Galvez, all in Ascension Parish, Louisiana.
Please provide an original and five (5) copies of the proposal.

The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana.
Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all proposals for just cause.
