Complete Bid Documents for this project are available in electronic form only. They may be obtained without charge and without deposit from the Allen Parish Engineer at
[email protected]. Printed copies are not available from the Designer, but arrangements can be made to obtain them through most reprographic firms. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs. Questions about this procedure or to arrange a site visit shall be directed to the Parish Engineer at: PHONE (337) 639-4328.
The Bid submitted below by each responsible bidder will be opened and aggregated and presented for consideration at the Allen Parish Police Jury Meeting on Monday, July 7th at 6:00 PM. Bids received after the closing time will be returned unopened. All bids remain in full force and effect for thirty (30) days following the aforementioned time.
NO FORMAL PREBID CONFERENCE OR SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD. CONTRACTORS WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ARRANGING A SITE VISIT AND VERIFYING ALL REQUIRED QUANITITES AND MEASUREMENTS PRIOR TO BIDDING Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192. No bid bond or performance bond is required. Contractors shall include a copy of their insurance declaration page demonstrating general liability and workers compensation insurance coverage and naming the Allen Parish Police Jury as an additional insured with their bid or within 10 days of submitting their bid. Bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with La. R.S. 38:2212(B)(1), the provisions and requirements of this Section; and those stated in the bidding documents shall not be waived by any entity.
