REPLACEMENT OF PRESSBOX AT TIOGA HIGH SCHOOL
RPSB Bid # 21-19
 
Separate sealed bids for Replacement of Pressbox at Tioga High School (RPSB Bid #21-19) will be received by the RAPIDES PARISH SCHOOL BOARD in the Purchasing Dept. (2nd Floor of the School Board Central Office - 619  Sixth Street, Alexandria, Louisiana 71301),  until 11:00 A.M. (Central time), Tuesday,  April 20, 2021. Sealed bids will then be publicly opened and read aloud in the Board Room of the Central Office. Any bid received after the specified time and date will not be considered.
 
Technical Specification and Drawings: Specifications and Drawings may be obtained from: Ashe, Broussard, Weinzettle Architects, 301 Jackson Street, Suite 205, Alexandria, LA 71301; Telephone: 318-473-0252 upon deposit of One Hundred Dollars and No/100 ($100.00) for each set of documents. The full deposit of the first set of hard copy Quote Documents if fully refundable to all bona fide prime contractors submitting a quote upon return of the documents, in good condition, no later than ten (10) days after receipt of quotes. The deposit of additional sets issued to prime contractors and for subcontractors is 50% refundable after return of quote documents in good condition, no later than ten (10) days after receipt of quotes. Documents are also available in PDF at no charge.
 
Pursuant to Louisiana Revised Statutes 38:2212.E.(I) Bidders have the option to submit their bids and  bid bonds electronically. To view bids, download and receive plans and specifications, and bid notices by email, Bidders will need to register with Central Bidding at www.CentralAuctionHouse.com . If you need help registering, or need help with completing an e-bid, please call Central Bidding at 225-8100-4814 or Toll Free at 866-570-9620 seven days a week, 24 hours a day. Fees may be associated with the use of this site.
 
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 AM. on April 13, 2021 at Tioga High School Football Field, 1207 Tioga Road, Pineville, Louisiana 71360
 
The OWNER reserves the right to reject any or all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes.
 
In accordance with R.S. 38:2212(8)(1), the provisions and requirements stated in the bidding documents shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived.
 
The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, in an amount equal to 100% of the Contract amount, written by a surety or insurance company meeting the requirements noted in R.S. 38:2219.A.( l )(a) , (b) and (c).
 
Each Bidder must deposit with his/ her bid, security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, provided on the specified form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders.

 

Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Circular 570.
 
Bidder shall show the Contractor's license number and name of the project on the Bid envelope as required by Louisiana Revised Statutes 37:2163.A.(l ).
 
In accordance with in R.S. 38:2215. A., no Bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening.
 
Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact the Owner no later than seven (7) days prior to bid opening.
