Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is having a site showing to interested contractors from our bidders list at 10:00 a.m. on August 9, 2022 for the Hurricane Lake WMA – North GTR Glaise Creek Structure Project. We will meet on site at the Mitchell Corner boat ramp parking lot on Glaise Creek Road approximately 0.15 miles south of the intersection of Hurricane Lake Road and Lone Star Rd in Bald Knob, AR (North 35°13’51.59” and West 91°28’53.5”).  The intersection is approximately 4.1 miles south of Highway 64 on Hurricane Lake Road. 
 
The work on this project consists of replacing an existing culvert structure with a cast-in-place concrete 6-bay single-leaf overshot gate water control structure.  This work shall also include performing the necessary items outlined in the plans and specifications and associated with constructing the project according to the plans.
 

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws. Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid.
