Notice of Request for Occupational & Physical Therapy Services
(Request for Proposal 2025-2026 Occupational & Physical Therapy Services)
The South Pike School District ("the District") through its Federal and State Programs is publishing a Sealed Request for Proposal ("RFP") soliciting vendor proposals and qualifications for an independent contractor to provide occupational therapy (OT) and physical therapy (PT) services. The contractor will provide related services in the area of occupational therapy South Pike School District (SPSD) student population and for the students whose Individualized Education Program (IEP) committee have determined necessary to achieve educational benefit and to provide access to a Free Appropriate Public Education (FAPE). The contractor will provide regularly scheduled occupational and physical therapy as needed.
The contractor should have at least seven years of experience in occupational and physical therapy, particularly in educational settings, and must be able to work with children with varying degrees of need. Key responsibilities include scheduling and providing therapy services as outlined by students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), conducting evaluations, participating in IEP meetings, and maintaining accurate service logs. The contractor must also ensure compliance with campus attendance procedures and provide proof of criminal background checks for all practitioners involved.
