Bid Law Requirement Update: Act 406

Normally when you send out bids needing to be good for a year there are more documents to fill out such as corporate resolutions and affidavits.

We really need to get an answer on this, if this is a one year bid and it needs all the paperwork that goes with an annual or if we just put the bid in as a normal quote on here without all the affidavits or corp resolutions.Please advise as we do not want to get thrown out because of no correct paperwork.

small bids do not require corporate resolutions or non public works affidavits. Only what is required in the bid documents. The requirements for this bid are correct in the bid listing. Please le t me know if you have any questions.

I always thought a 1 year bid would require affidavits.

No. To my knowledge only advertised bids require Corp. Res. and Affidavits or if the Department was requiring bonds then it would need council approval to award.
