INVITATION FOR BIDS
NOTICE is hereby given that the CITY OF FLOWOOD, MS will receive written sealed bids until the hour of 11:00 AM on December 21, 2021. Paper bids can be submitted at the office of Flowood City Hall located at 2101 Airport Road, Flowood, MS 39232. Electronic bids can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com. Sealed bids are for the furnishing of all labor and materials and for the construction of that certain project designated as:
FLOWOOD DRIVE/HIGHWAY 475
WATER MAIN
Drawings and Specifications being on file at the office of Flowood City Hall located at 2101 Airport Road Flowood, MS 39232.
The project consists of construction of: 12” Water Main along Flowood Drive & Mississippi Highway475, Flowood, MS and all related appurtenances shown on the Bid Form.
A non-mandatory inspection trip for prospective BIDDERS is scheduled as follows:
10:30 AM, December 7, 2021
at Flowood Engineering Department, Flowood, MS
The total Contract Time will be 150 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $600.00 per consecutive calendar day thereafter.
Copies of the plans and specifications, together with contract documents, may be obtained from the office of H1 Services, LLC by contacting [email protected], upon payment of $100 for each set, none of which is refundable.
Award will be made to the lowest and best bidder and the CITY OF FLOWOOD reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
