Sealed bids will be received by the Iberia Parish School Board at any time or day prior to, but not later than 5:30 pm on Wednesday July 18, 2012 for Renovations to Jeanerette Senior High School for the Iberia Parish School Board construction work.
A mandatory pre-bid conference will be scheduled for Tuesday June 26, 2012 at 3:00 pm at Jeanerette High School for all bidders of record.
Bids may be mailed to David Delahoussaye, Purchasing Agent, Iberia Parish School Board, P.O. Box 200, New Iberia, Louisiana 70562-0200, or delivered to 1500 Jane Street, New Iberia, Louisiana 70563, between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:00 pm on any working day Monday thru Thursday and between the hours of 8:00 am and 12:00pm on Fridays prior to the bid opening: or delivered at the time of the bid opening as listed below. Bids may also be submitted online at www.centralauctionhouse.com until the close of bids as listed below.
All bids, properly submitted, will be open and read at the Iberia Parish School Board Meeting Held on Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at 5:30 pm in the Board Room of the Iberia Parish School Board Administrative Office located at 1500 Jane Street, New Iberia, Louisiana.
Proposed contract documents may be obtained through the offices of Architects' Design Studio, 144-A West Main Street, New Iberia, Louisiana 70560 after depositing $100.00 per set if returned in good condition, 50% of the deposit will be refundable after the bid opening with a Bona Fide Bid. Proposed Contract Documents may also be viewed online at www.centralauctionhouse.com.
Each request for contract documents will include written documentation showing the Contractor’s Company Name, Company’s State License No., The names of the Company Officers, and a signed affidavit from the Company’s Insurance Agency certifying to the Contracting Company’s ability to obtain a performance and payment bond with its’ bonding limits and bonding company’s name.
Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security (certified check, cashier’s check or bid bond with power of attorney for an amount equal to 5% of the total bid. Money Order and/or Company Checks will not be acceptable. Such security will be no less than 5% of the net amount bid, excluding taxes.
