Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for the San Bernard NWR – Sargent Unit Shoreline Protection Project.  
 
The work on this project consists of the supply and installation of up to 6,993 linear feet (30,231 tons) of rock breakwater in the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway located approximately 0.5 miles southeast of Sargent in Matagorda County, Texas.  This work shall also include performing the necessary mobilization, day beacon installation, and other items outlined in the plans and specifications or associated with constructing the project according to the plans. The Contractor shall be responsible for any necessary pollution control measures.  This work shall also include performing the necessary fill, necessary excavation, necessary site preparation and other items outlined in the plans or associated with constructing the project according to the plans.  The unit price bid for the project shall be payment in full for supplying all materials, equipment, labor and any other necessary incidental items necessary for performing all operations described herein. Contractors shall submit proposed construction schedules with their documents.
