Paulina Gas Line Infrastructure Improvements Phase 2
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Paulina Gas Line Infrastructure Improvements Phase 2 will be received by St. James Parish Government, at the office of the St. James Parish Operations Department, 5800 Highway 44, 3rd floor, Convent, LA 70732, until 2:00 p.m. local time on February 1, 2021, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
Sealed bids shall be either hand-delivered by the bidder or his agent in which instance the deliverer shall be handed a written receipt, or such bid shall be sent by registered or certified mail with a return receipt requested. Bids may also be delivered by a package or express delivery service or carrier. However, if this form of delivery is utilized, the form of delivery receipt utilized by said carrier or service shall be considered as a sufficient written receipt received by the bidder. Failure of the U.S. Mail or of any express carrier or delivery service to deliver the bids timely shall not be considered due cause for the scheduled time of the bid opening to be extended.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is St. James Parish Operations Department, 5800 Highway 44, 3rd floor, Convent, LA 70723 (contact Ryan Larousse @ Ryan.Larousse@stjamesparishla.gov). Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Bidding Documents may also be examined online at Central Bidding from Central Auction House (https://www.centralauctionhouse.com/).
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents are on file in the office of High Tide Consultants, LLC, 700 Canal Boulevard, Thibodaux, Louisiana 70301, and a single copy may be obtained by each perspective bidder upon payment of $100 per set (non-refundable) to cover the cost of printing. Checks for Bidding Documents shall be payable to High Tide Consultants, LLC.
A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. local time on January 19, 2021, at St. James Parish Operations Department, 5800 Highway 44, 3rd floor, Convent, LA 70732. A site walk through will be included.
All Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid security furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
