Sealed bids will be received by Ascension Parish Government at the Ascension Parish Government Purchasing Office, 615 E. Worthey St., Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 (mailing address PO Box 2392, Gonzales, LA 70707-2392) until, December 01, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. local time. The bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following:
SPECIFICATIONS: All lumber and timbers will be grade #2 and Better Southern Pine in accordance with SPIB Grade Rules and treated in accordance with AWPA specifications U1and T1.
ROUND TIMBER PILES
SPECIFICATIONS: All piling will meet specifications in accordance with ASTM-Class B Round Timber Piles specifications and treated in accordance with AWPA specifications U1and T1 for land and fresh water use.

The contract will be awarded on an all or none type basis. The bidder with the most items at the lowest price will be awarded the contract.
Delivery of material must be made within 45 days of the purchase order date, or the purchase order will be cancelled and a purchase order will be issued to the next lowest bidder.

The Parish of Ascension reserves the right to disqualify any Bid, response to a Request for Qualifications, or Request for Proposals if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana. Ascension Parish Government reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
