The work is generally described as follows: removal of existing drainage culverts, pavements, and drainage structures; installation of reinforced concrete pipe for drainage culverts, excavation for construction of drainage ditches, construction of drainage inlets, construction of pavement sections,   installation of temporary and permanent erosion controls, and associated items.
 
The Contract Time for the work is 120 working days, work may be performed 24 hours per day, 7 days per week.  Liquidated damages in the amount of $500 will be assessed for each consecutive working day thereafter.
 
A pre-bid conference for this project will be scheduled for June 29, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Vicksburg Municipal Airport Terminal Building to discuss the work. Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend the pre-bid conference and perform a site visit of the project area prior to bidding.
