Town of St. Francisville (herein referred to as the "Owner") hereby solicits sealed bids for the Emergency Erosion Repairs – Contract 2 project described as follows:
STATEMENT OF WORK (PEC Project No. 11703.05-2): Drainage improvements at Royal Street and Old Town Hall in St. Francisville.
Sealed Bids shall be addressed to the Town of St. Francisville, and delivered to the Town of St. Francisville Town Hall at 11936 St. Ferdinand Street, St. Francisville, LA 70775 (P. O. Box 400) not later than 10:00 a.m., on the 24th day of July, 2025 Any bid received after the specified time and date will not be considered. The sealed bids will be publicly opened and read aloud at 10:00 a.m. on 24th day of July, 2025, at the Town of St. Francisville Town Hall Council Chambers located at 11936 St. Ferdinand Street, St. Francisville, LA 70775 (P. O. Box 400).
Complete Bid Documents, Instructions to Bidders, Bid Form, Contract, Plans, Specifications, and Forms of the Bid Bond, Performance Bond and Payment Bond, and other bidding documents may be downloaded from the Professional Engineering Consultants (PEC) Plan Room as hosted by Central Bidding https://www.centralbidding.com (subject to fees and conditions). Prospective Bidders are solely responsible for obtaining the most up-to-date bidding Documents from the designated website. Bids will not be accepted through the online bidding portal. Bids will be received by mail and/or hand delivery to the location as stated above.

[email protected] or at the Office of the Engineer for the contract; Professional Engineering Consultants Corp. located at 7600 Innovation Park Drive, Baton Rouge, La 70820; (225-769-2810). Hard copies may be obtained at this office upon payment of a deposit of $150.00. This deposit will be refunded upon request in accordance with R.S. 38:2212.
Contractors submitting bids shall be licensed under LA R.S. 37:2150-2164, Municipal and Public Works. The bidder shall show his license number on the bid and on the sealed envelope submitting the bid.
The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause; such actions will be in accordance with Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes.
In accordance with R.S. 38:2212 (A)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements stated in the Bidding Documents shall not be waived by any entity.
Each Bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid price, provided on the specified form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U. S. Department of Treasury Circular 570.
No bidder may withdraw his/her bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
