Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project on a NRCS WRE Easement located in Catahoula Parish Louisiana. We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on April 20th at 9:00 AM.
 
We will meet at the intersection of Diversion Canal Rd and Korean War Veterans Memorial Hwy (Louisiana Highway 28) on the north side of the diversion canal (North 31°28’19.65” and West 92°5’51.96”).  The intersection is approximately 21 miles southwest of the Jonesville, LA.  Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory but is strongly suggested that interested bidders attend.

The work on this project consists of earthfill/embankment and excavation, smooth steel water control structures, seed, fertilizer, mulch, and associated site preparation.   This work shall also include performing the other necessary items outlined in the plans and specifications and associated with constructing the project according to the plans.
