INVITATION TO BID
Sealed Bids will be received in the office of Ms. Elizabeth Domite, Director of Finance, of the Rapides Parish School Board, in the Rapides Parish School Board Office Building, Sixth and Beauregard Streets, Alexandria, Louisiana until January 29, 2019 at 10:00 A.M.
Purchase of Bus Maintenance Parts and Supplies
(BID NO 19-05)
After stamping to acknowledge timely receipt, the proposals will be publicly opened and read by the Executive Committee and/or staff of the Rapides Parish School Board. Sole responsibility for proper delivery of bid is that of the bidder. Any offer received after closing time, January 29, 2019 at 10:00 A.M., will be returned unopened.
Specifications and proposal forms may be obtained from the Purchasing Department, Rapides Parish School Board, by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org, mailing your request to P. O. Box 7117, Alexandria, Louisiana 71306 or 619 Sixth Street, Alexandria, LA 71301 or by visiting www.centralbidding.com; fees may be associated with the use of this site.
All bids must be accompanied by bid security in the amount of $1,000.00 and must be in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, Bank Money Order or Bid Bond written by a company licensed to do business in the State of Louisiana.
Awards will not be made on the date of the proposal opening, but will be awarded by the School Board at a later meeting.
Subject to the provisions of R.S. 38:2211 et. Seq, the Rapides Parish School Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
