Interested vendors are invited to submit proposals to St. Charles Parish School Board (“SCPSB”) electronically via the Central Auction House website located at the “Online Bids & RFPs” link under the Resources tab at the SCPSB website https://www.stcharles.k12.la.us/.

All proposals will be accepted until 12:00 noon local time (Central Standard Time) on September 2, 2022. All proposals received will be taken under advisement as submitted by the assigned date and time at SCPSB. All requirements must be addressed in your proposal. Non-responsive proposals may not be considered. Failure to follow these instructions could result in disqualification of the proposal. SCPSB reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.

Questions should be submitted electronically via the online site no later than 12:00 noon local time (Central Standard Time) on August 19, 2022. Firms are responsible for checking the website above periodically for any updates or revisions to the Request for Proposals (“RFP”).

Is this Emergency Project Management RFP looking at the entire functions of an Emergency Management, such as preparedness, response, mitigation planning development, training, and exercises schedules, grant management, recovery planning, and continuity of operations?

St. Charles Parish Public Schools School requested proposals from qualified vendors to assist SCPPS in the management of certain emergency service projects, contract management, grants development and management, and other recovery monitoring needs in connection with Hurricane Ida recovery. Was a contract awarded for these services? If yes, who was the selected vendor? Are you satisfied with the services this contractor is providing?

Questions, followed by our answers are below: Is this Emergency Project Management RFP looking at the entire functions of an Emergency Management, such as preparedness, response, mitigation planning development, training, and exercises schedules, grant management, recovery planning, and continuity of operations? Yes, but it is expected that the only function we would use would be grant (FEMA) management. St. Charles Parish Public Schools School requested proposals from qualified vendors to assist SCPPS in the management of certain emergency service projects, contract management, grants development and management, and other recovery monitoring needs in connection with Hurricane Ida recovery. Was a contract awarded for these services? If yes, who was the selected vendor? Are you satisfied with the services this contractor is providing? A contract was awarded to CSRS Disaster Recovery Management for Hurricane Ida recovery. We are satisfied with their services. Does SCPPS have any other active Disaster Response or Recovery contracts? If yes, with whom? Are you satisfied with the services this contractor is providing? We have no other active contracts for this type of service.

Do M/WBE firms need to be certified in the State of Louisiana by the proposal submittal deadline if they are headquartered elsewhere?

Regarding the following question: "Do M/WBE firms need to be certified in the State of Louisiana by the proposal submittal deadline if they are headquartered elsewhere?", the answer is that certification is not required, but any documentary evidence available of a firm's status should be submitted in support of a claim of MWBE status.
