Will you accept alternate equipment?
WCSDBC on 25-Jan-2022 9:57:38 AM CST
I am not sure exactly what you mean by alternate equipment. The equipment must met the specifications listed in the RFP.

Question from phone call: 1. When is the projected start date? As soon as the board approves the vendor, the project will need to start immediately. Project needs to be finished by September 2022 because of funding deadlines. 2. Is there a project cap or cost? No, we want bid to include everything listed in the RFP. If funds are not available for everything, some cameras maybe eliminated as stated in the RFP. 3. Will there be a bidder list before auction? No.

How do we get on the bidding list.
WCSDBC on 26-Jan-2022 7:54:29 AM CST
Unpriced proposals are due by 12 pm on Feb. 7th for review. They must be submitted through www.centralbidding.com. These proposals will be approved according to vendor qualifications and requirements, equipment specifications listed in the RFP, and if vendor attended the pre-bid site visit. If proposal and vendor meet all qualifications, requirements, and specifications, the vendor will then be able to bid on Feb. 9th at 10 AM.

Questions from the Walk Thru 1. Current cameras at Salem are 22. We are adding 11 more so total will be 33 cameras at Salem. 2. Do not include in your bid the NVR for Walthall County CTE Center. We will take the current NVR from Salem and using at CTE Center. That model # is WRN-1610S-12TB. 3. You do not have to have an SD card for each camera, only an SD card slot. 4. All cameras need to be on the current GSA schedule. Some may refer to this as NDAA complaint. 5. Include in your bid all new patch panels for all schools. 6. We are requiring vendors to have Ruckus BPIPA on staff because our school district's current staff is not capable of configuring switches, and we are a Ruckus School District. The vendor will be required to configure the switches. The district will only provide the IP addresses and the VLAN number. 7. At Tylertown High School, the district will add a switch in the concession stand for the cameras located on that building. 8. On page 5 of the RFP under Scope of Work, the district has Hanwha systems at two schools but will except equivalent bid and district will decide what is equivalent. Just a reminder: Unpriced proposals are due by 12 pm on Feb. Please read RFP specific response requirements and Vendor qualifications on page 3 and 4 of the RFP. If I have missed something that you need an answer to, please let me know and I will post for all to see.

I received an email Friday, 2/4/22 at 2:00PM that the camera project has been postponed until 2/14/22. It also stated that there is a mandatory walk thru this morning at 9:00AM. We attended the walk thru for the fiber and the CCTV as originally scheduled on 2/3/22. We did not have enough time to schedule for someone to attend the walk thru this morning. Has the CCTV Project been postponed and are we going to get credit for the CCTV walk thru? Thanks
WCSDBC on 07-Feb-2022 8:31:02 AM CST
Answer to sgray12 question: The camera bid has not been postponed. There is no mandatory walk through this morning. You may have gotten an email concerning another school district. I did not send anything out. Nothing has changed with our timeline. Proposals are due today at noon.

Message to all vendors: To clarify the number of cameras. There are 82 outside cameras and 70 inside cameras for a total of 152 camera. Also each server should have a 24" LCD screen provided.
