CONTRACT 1 – WASTEWATER TREATMENT PROCESS
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the WEST RANKIN UTILITY AUTHORITY WASTEWATER TREATMENT FACILITY – CONTRACT 1 – WASTEWATER TREATMENT PROCESS will be received by the West Rankin Utility Authority, at the office of the West Rankin Utility Authority, until 10:30am local time on October 18, 2018, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read. Bids may be submitted in printed form to the West Rankin Utility Authority office or electronically at http://www.centralbidding.com.
The Project consists of constructing unit operations and processes for a Twenty Million Gallon per Day (20 MGD) Wastewater Treatment Facility.
Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Pickering Firm, Inc., 2001 Airport Road, Suite 201, Flowood, Mississippi 39232, Telephone: 601-956-3663 (Contact Greg Brown, PE, firstname.lastname@example.org). Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.
Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the West Rankin Utility Authority, 520 Old Hwy 49, Richland, MS, 39218, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm.
Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents are available on USB flash drive (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable charge of $250.00, including shipping via overnight express. Upon Issuing Office’s receipt of payment, one (1) USB flash drive containing Bidding Documents will be available for in-person pick-up or shipment. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 10:30am local time on September 20, 2018 at the West Rankin Utility Authority Office, 520 Old Highway 49, Richland, MS, 39218. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but is not mandatory.
Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders.
