ELECTRONIC BIDS for the construction of the “Hurricane Ida Damage Repairs to Lafourche Parish Government – Old Courthouse Roof Replacement” consisting of the following:
 
Removal of existing roofing, roof insulation, and sheet metal flashings and trim, and replacement with new roof insulation board, cover board, SBS Modified Bituminous Membrane Roofing, and associated sheet metal flashings and trim.  Project is funded by FEMA reimbursement and is subject to all required FEMA Terms and Conditions. 
Bids will be received electronically by the Lafourche Government until 2:00 P.M. local time, on Thursday, June 8, 2023, at which time bids will be retrieved from the Central Auction House (CAH) website and read aloud at the Lafourche Parish Government Complex, 402 Green Street, Thibodaux, LA 70301. Only electronic bids submitted on www.centralbidding.com will be accepted.

To view these, download, receive bid notices by e-mail, and submit the bid you must register with Central Auction House (CAH). Vendors/Contractors must submit their bids electronically. A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference shall be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at 10:00 A.M. at the Lafourche Parish Courthouse located at 201 Green St., Thibodaux, Louisiana. The pre-bid conference is mandatory and will be conducted to discuss the Plans, Specifications, and project requirements.
 
The Bidding Documents, consisting of Advertisement for Bids, Information for Bidders, Bid Form, Bid Bond, Agreement, General Conditions, Supplementary Conditions, Special Conditions, Payment Bond, Performance bond, Notice of Award, Notice to Proceed, Drawings, Specifications and Addenda may be examined at the following locations:

Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2163 for the classification of BUILDING CONSTRUCTION or ROOFING AND SHEET METAL, SIDING.
 
The Owner requires that each bidder attach to his bid a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond equivalent to 5% of the total bid as evidence of good faith of the bidder. Sureties used for obtaining bonds must appear as acceptable on the U.S. Department of the Treasury Circular 570.
 
No bidder may withdraw his bid within forty-five (45) days after the actual date of the opening thereof except as provided by law.
 
Any person with disabilities requiring special accommodations must contact Lafourche Parish Government no later than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.
