Sealed proposals will be received by West Baton Rouge Parish Council, in the meeting room, at 880 North Alexander Ave., Port Allen, Louisiana up to 10:00 AM , CST Time, Wednesday, February 24, 2010 for furnishing of all materials, labor, tools and equipment necessary to erect a metal building lean-to addition to the WBR Parish Multi-Purpose Facility (Riding Arena) on Turner Road in Port Allen. At that time, bids will be opened and read aloud.
Notations on outer face of envelope containing bids, which have the effect of amending the enclosed bid will not be considered.
The contract documents may be obtained from the office of the architect, DEAN HOTARD & ASSOCIATES, An Architectural Corporation, 570 N. Jefferson Avenue, Port Allen, La. for a refundable deposit of $100.00 per set of bid documents.
Each request must be accompanied by a satisfactory bid bond, certified check, or cash in the amount of five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid, payable to West Baton Rouge Parish Council. The low successful Bidder shall furnish owner a performance and labor bond in the amount of 100% of the bid plus a certificate of insurance.
Contractors bidding on this project must be licensed by the State of Louisiana.
No proposal may be withdrawn within forty-five (45) days after the above scheduled time of opening and the right is reserved to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities.
