PROFESSIONAL SERVICES FOR FUEL CARD PROGRAM
Request for Qualifications will be received by the City of Gonzales at City Hall, 120 S. Irma Boulevard, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737 until, January 4, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. local time for the following:
CITY OF GONZALES REQUEST QUALIFICATIONS FOR FUEL CARD PROGRAM
The City of Gonzales invites interested firms who can provide a fuel card program to supply the City’s fleet of vehicles and equipment with fuel, to submit a Statement of Qualifications. The City intends to award a contract for those services. The contract will be issued for a five (5) year term with the option to renew with administration approval.
Firms will be evaluated based upon professional qualifications, specialized experience, cost reasonableness, and technical competence related to supply fuel, fuel cards and the required reporting requirements. Additionally, firms are required to limit their qualification packages experience pertinent to municipal and government projects only. A single firm will be chosen by the City of Gonzales selection team. The City of Gonzales selection team will be comprised of a minimum of three (3) city employees or administrators directly responsible for City services.
Interested consultant teams shall submit their qualification on standard form titled “Gonzales Professional Services Qualifications Statement”. To request the standard forms, project selection documents or submit questions regarding the RFQ, all inquiries should be directed to Mr. Justin Lanoux, Purchasing Agent, via email ONLY at email@example.com no later than 3 o’clock pm, December 17, 2020, with responses given via email by 10 o’clock am, December 18, 2020.
The submittal documents must be delivered in a sealed envelope or box that is clearly identified on the outside as “Statement of Qualifications for Fuel Card Program”. Proposals sent via courier must be sealed in a separate envelope inside of the mailer. Proposals received after the deadline will not be opened and shall be considered void.

The City of Gonzales reserves the right to disqualify any response to a Request for Qualifications if it is determined that the submitting business entity is not in good standing with the Louisiana Secretary of State or is not authorized to do business in the State of Louisiana. The City of Gonzales reserves the right to reject any and all bids/proposals for just cause.
