Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on August 17, 2023, at 11:00 am local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read.
 
Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on August 3, 2023, at 11:00 am local time.
 
Project Scope: Improvements, renovations, and additions to existing Snow Hinton Park including restroom building; maintenance building; group pavilion; picnic pavilions; shade arbors; parking lot reconfiguration; pedestrian pathways of asphalt, concrete, pavers; seat walls and planter walls; site furniture; site electrical service, security, Wi-Fi, lighting for pedestrian, parking, landscape areas; utility for water, storm, sanitary, electrical; mass and fine grading; plant material; irrigation.    
                                                                                                                                            
Award of the contract will be made within forty-five (45) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.
 
Plans and Specifications:  Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open for public inspection at the office of Infrastructure and Public Services Administration, located at 2201 University Blvd., Tuscaloosa, Alabama and  plans,  specifications  and  other  elements  of  the  contract  documents  may  be  obtained  from  the  office  of  the Engineer Barge Design Solutions, Inc., designated as the office of the awarding authority for this purpose, located at  3535 Grandview Parkway, Suite 500, Birmingham, AL 35243.  The contact person for the project is Steve Provost.  They can be reached at 205-298-1763.
