The Work consists of additions & renovations to Quitman high School and Weston High School in Quitman, Louisiana and Weston, Louisiana.
The Work at Weston School (Base Bid) includes site work, concrete sidewalks, site drainage, concrete foundations, brick veneer/ CMU block walls, wood truss roofing system, finish carpentry with casework, storefront systems, hollow metal doors, wood doors, door hardware, glazing, lay-in ceilings, painting, electrical, mechanical, shingle roofs, and other systems as described in the contract documents. Coordinate work with School, since School must use adjacent space during construction.

The Work at Quitman School (Additive Alternate Number One) included site and drainage work, concrete walks, concrete foundation, CMU block walls, Pre-Engineered Metal Building systems, prefinished metal roof and wall panels, metal stud framing, drywall systems, building insulation, finish carpentry, aluminum storefront systems, hollow metal and wood doors, finish hardware, glazing, lay-in ceiling, painted, electrical, mechanical, and other systems as described in the contract documents. Coordinate work with School, so that Owner will continue to use Gym for P.E. Classes and basketball practice during construction.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:00 a.m. local time on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at the Jackson Parish School Board Office located at 315 Pershing Highway in Jonesboro, Louisiana. Owner Telephone (318) 259-4456. Representatives from the OWNER and ARCHITECT will be present to discuss the Project. Bidders are encouraged to attend and participate in the conference.
