The Project consists of the Construction of a new approximate 46,000 square foot multiple building Middle School Facility on the campus of the existing North Vermilion High School, located at 11609 Louisiana Highway 699, Maurice, Louisiana in rural Vermilion Parish, Louisiana. Buildings include Building A, 4,130 Square Foot Administration Building, Building B/C, 28,235 Square Foot Academic Classroom Building, and Building D, 14,620 Square Foot Gymnasium Building. The Project also includes the possible construction of Building E, 3,890 Square Foot Band Building (attached to Building D) as Part of Alternate No. 1. Other Alternates include additional length of Covered Walkway Canopies (Alternate No. 2) and the relocation of four (4) existing Modular Classroom Buildings (Alternate No. 3). The project includes the demolition of existing structures and site improvements necessary to facilitate the planned additional buildings. Also included is new Site Paving (Concrete and Limestone Aggregate Paving) as well as Site Storm Drainage, Site Utilities and other necessary Building and Site Improvements. The Project must be constructed in multiple phases as more clearly defined on the Construction Document Plans and Specifications.

Bids must be submitted on Bid Form provided in Specifications. Information must be typed or entered by hand, scanned and attached as a document to submit an online bid for this project. To submit a bid bond electronically, front and back of bid bond must be scanned and submitted. Please pay special attention to the Information for Bidders, Article 3 - Submission of Bids, in the Specifications for more details. A Pre-bid Conference will be held at the Project Site at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. PLease meet outside at the School's Main Entrance Canopy in order to be escorted to the meeting location.
