ABBEVILLE GENERAL HOSPITAL DIESEL FIRE PUMP REPLACEMENT
 
Sealed bids for, ABBEVILLE GENERAL HOSPITAL DIESEL FIRE PUMP REPLACEMENT, ABBEVILLE, LOUISIANA will be received until 12:00 PM CST on November 17 2022, at Abbeville General Hospital Administrative Offices, 118 N. Hospital Drive, Abbeville, Louisiana, 70510, after which the bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.  Any bids received after the above mentioned time will be returned unopened. Electronic bids at www.centralbidding.com as allowed by Act 590 amended Title 38:2212 are acceptable. 
 
Bids shall be accepted only from contractors who are licensed under LA-R.S.37:2150-2163 for the classification of SPECIALTY: Fire Sprinkler Work.
 
Complete Bid Documents for this project are available in electronic form.  They may be obtained from www.centralbidding.com. Printed copies are not available from the Designer, but arrangements can be made to obtain them.  Electronic copies are available from the designer, send request to [email protected]. Withdrawal of Bids:  LA R.S. 38§2215.A Allows “A political subdivision upon receipt of bids for the undertaking of any public works contract shall act within forty-five calendar days of such receipt to award said contract to the lowest responsible bidder or rejects all bids.”
 
Each proposal must be accompanied by a bid bond, a certified check, or cashier's check in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount bid, made payable without condition to the Owner as a guarantee that the bidder, if awarded the contract, will promptly execute the contract documents.  The bid security of all bidders, except the three lowest, will be returned promptly after the canvas of bids.
 
All contractors and/or subcontractors whose bid exceeds Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) shall be licensed under R.S. 37:2151-2163 of Louisiana Law.
