The Base Bid includes the replacement of the existing HVAC system with a new VRF HVAC system. Alternate No. 1 includes the work required to replace the existing exhaust fans as indicated in the Contract Documents. Alternate No. 2 includes the work required to remove the existing HVAC equipment, piping and accessories as indicated in the Contract Documents. For Clarification, the existing chillers and chilled water pump remain in use.  Alternate No. 3 includes the work required to replace the existing kitchen hood makeup air units as indicated in the Contract Documents.

A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, June 2, 2015 at the Acadiana Techanical College (SLCC) Main Lobby, 1101 Bertrand Drive, Lafayette, LA 70506.

Additional Notes/Requirements

Sealed bids will be received for the State of Louisiana by the Division of Administration, Office of Facility Planning and Control, Claiborne Office Building, 1201 North Third Street, Conference Room 1-145, Post Office Box 94095, Baton Rouge, Louisiana 70804-9095 until 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 16, 2015. Printed copies are not available from the Designer but arrangements can be made to obtain them through most reprographic firms. Plan holders are responsible for their own reproduction costs. All bids shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Mechanical Work. Bidder is required to comply with provisions and requirements of LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). No bid may be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days after receipt of bids, except under the provisions of LA. R.S. 38:2214.
