REQUEST FOR BIDS 
The Hamilton County Board of County Commissioners is soliciting bids to furnish and pour concrete for a 50’ x 20’metal building with slopes and drains. The metal will be located at Hamilton County Animal Control, 946 Oak Street, Jennings, Florida 32053. The site is easily accessible.
The scope of work for the project will be provided at a MANDATORY pre-bid conference at the site beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 28, 2025. All persons intending to submit a bid for this project MUST BE PRESENT AT THAT TIME AND PLACE.  Bids/proposals submitted by a person or company not in attendance at the pre-bid conference will not be considered.
 
Hamilton County’s Procurement Policy allows for a 5% local vendor preference.

You may file your bid in the office of the Clerk of Circuit Court, Room 106, Hamilton County Courthouse, 207 Northeast First Street, Jasper, Florida, any time before 3:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2025. Bids may be mailed or hand­ delivered to the Clerk's Office. All bids received after this date and time will not be considered.
 
NOTE: BIDS SHALL BE SUBMITTED IN TRIPLICATE, SEALED AND MARKED:
"METAL BUILDING CONCRETE WORK- ANIMAL CONTROL" 
The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to refuse any or all bids in whole or in part, with or without cause, and/or to accept the bid that in its best judgment will be for the best interest of Hamilton County.
 
"A person or affiliate who has been placed on the convicted vendor list following a conviction for a public entity crime may not submit a bid on a contract to provide any goods or services to a public entity, may not submit a bid on a contract with a public entity for the construction or repair of a public building, or public work, may not submit bids on leases of real property to a public entity, may not be awarded or perform work as a contractor, supplier, subcontractor, or consultant under a contract with any public entity, and may not transact business with any public entity in excess of the threshold amount provided in Section 287.017, Florida Statutes, for CATEGORY TWO for a period of 36 months from the date of being placed on the convicted vendor list."
