Listing Information/Advertisement

St. James Parish Government will be accepting sealed bids on two 24-inch hydraulic, submersible, flood control pumps with power units and hoses.  These pumps are listed in Section II, Article V of the general specifications section of this document.
 
Bids may be mailed to St. James Parish Department of Operations, P.O. Box 106, Convent, Louisiana, 70723, or may be submitted just prior to closing for receipt of same. Bids may be submitted electronically through Central Auction House: www.centralauctionhouse.com. Any bid received after the above specified hour and date will be returned unopened. St. James Parish reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
 
Sealed bids will be opened in the St. James Parish Government Department of Operations Office, Room 311, located at 5800 HWY 44, Convent, LA 70723 at 10:00 AM, June 11, 2025.
 
In the event of extended lead times for manufacturing, the successful bidder must deliver two temporary pumps and power units, of equal flow, capacity, and design, as listed in the specifications, to the St. James Parish Department of Operations, within two weeks of the bid award date for use while equipment is being manufactured.  Quoted prices for new and used equipment shall be for complete units ready for use.  Once new pumps and power units are delivered, the bidder must uninstall and take possession of the temporary equipment and install the new equipment at the same location.  Should any new or temporary equipment malfunction, and is required to be taken out of service for repair, the successful bidder must possess the ability to rapidly deploy temporary pumps or power units of equal or similar flow and capacity. The quoted prices for new and used equipment shall be for complete units ready for use. 
 
Prospective bidders must bid on all items listed and must meet minimum requirements as specified in the bid documents.  Equipment specifications and documents are available from the St. James Parish Government, Department of Operations, 5800 HWY 44, Convent, LA 70723, Room 311.
 
The envelope containing the bid must be marked "Flood Control Pump Bid, Department of Operations” clearly on the outside of the envelope. All bids must be complete and include the delivery schedule and warranty.  Immediate delivery and availability of parts, service, and warranty will be considered in the awarding of bids.
 
The St. James Parish Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any formalities.
