Notice is hereby given that a sealed Request for Qualifications (RFQ) will be received by the Lafayette Parish School Board Purchasing Department, located at 113 Chaplin Drive, Lafayette, Louisiana, 70508.  Delivery to any other department other than the Purchasing Department is unacceptable and may result in non-consideration of the proposal.  Statement of Qualifications will be received until September 17, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. Architectural Design Services For
A New Cafeteria
At Scott Middle School
 
 RFQ# 39-19
 
The RFQ# 39-19 is to obtain a statement of qualification from a qualified Architectural Firm to design and construction administration of a new cafeteria & kitchen building to be constructed on the Scott Middle School campus, Scott, LA, with a seating capacity of approximately 300-350 students.  Services shall include the necessary architectural, mechanical, electrical, food service design and civil engineering services required for a complete project.
An RFQ package may be obtained on the Purchasing Department website at  https://www.lpssonline.com/site6424.php.  RFQ information may also be viewed online, and electronic qualifications may be submitted online at www.centralauctionhouse.com.
 
At the above stated date and time only the names of the qualification respondents will be read aloud in the Personnel Conference Room.
 
The Lafayette Parish School System strongly encourages the participation of minority business enterprises in all contracts or procurements let by the Board for goods and services. To that end, all contractors and suppliers are encouraged to utilize minority business enterprises in the purchase or sub-contracting of materials, supplies, and services in which minority owned businesses are available.
