DRAINAGE AND GRADING IMPROVEMENTS

Sealed bids for Drainage and Grading Improvements for Loyd Star Attendance Center, will be received by the Superintendent and Board of Trustees, until 10:00 AM local time on March 21, 2022, at the Dungan Engineering, Brookhaven Office, 120 E. Chickasaw Street, Brookhaven, Mississippi, 39601, and shortly thereafter will be opened and publicly read.
 
The work involved in the project includes drainage and grading work at three sites on campus as described in the project Construction Drawings and Contract Documents.  All documents required for bidding purposes may be obtained from Dungan Engineering, P. A., 120 East Chickasaw Street, Brookhaven, Mississippi 39601, (601) 823-7026 or Official bid documents can be downloaded from Central Bidding at www.centralbidding.com. 
 
Electronic bids and/or reverse auction bids can be submitted at www.centralbidding.com. For any questions relating to the electronic bidding process, please call Central Bidding at 225-810-4814. A non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is required at the time of request for Construction Drawings and Contract Documents.  A copy of the Contract Drawings and Documents may be examined at the office of Dungan Engineering, P. A., 120 East Chickasaw Street, Brookhaven, Mississippi 39601.
 
A pre-bid conference for this project will be held at the office of Dungan Engineering located at 120 E. Chickasaw Street, Brookhaven, MS  39601, on March 15, 2022  at  10:00 a.m. (CST). Attendance is strongly encouraged, but it is not mandatory.
 
In addition to the responsiveness and bid price submitted by each Bidder, the Owner will consider, among other things, the following in making its decision to select the lowest and best bidder:
 
Bidder history of completing projects on time and on budget;
Bidder claim and litigation history;
Bidder experience and performance on previous contracts with the Owner;
Bidder work load and projects under contract relative to Bidder history. 
Bid preparation will be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders bound in the Documents.  The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and/or all bids.
