Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project located within the Upper Ouachita National Wildlife Refuge in Morehouse Parish Louisiana. We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on: September 22nd at 10:00 AM. We will meet at the intersection of Prairie Debutte Rd. and State HWY 593 just Northwest of Bastrop, Louisiana (North 32°49'49.8" and West 91°56'08.1").  The intersection is approximately 3.3 miles northwest of the intersection in Bastrop, Louisiana of State Hwy. 593, and State Hwy. 425.  Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory but is strongly suggested that interested bidders attend.

The work on this project consists of earthfill/embankment and excavation, smooth steel water control structures, seed, fertilizer, mulch, and associated site preparation.   This work shall also include performing the necessary items outlined in the plans and specifications and associated with constructing the project according to the plans. 

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws. Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid.
