Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project at the Riverside Land, LLC property in Yazoo County, MS.  We are having a pre-bid meeting for the project on:
July 19th at 8:30 AM
 
We will meet at the site which is adjacent to the Yazoo River Levee.  From the intersection of Hwy. 3 and Hwy. 433 at Satartia, MS go South on Hwy. 3 towards Vicksburg for 3.5 miles and turn west on Dixie Farms Road.  Follow Dixie Farms Road for 4.2 miles (past Dump Lake) to the intersection with the Yazoo River Levee.  Go approximately 5.7 miles west along the Yazoo River Levee to the site.  (North 32.654754° and West 90.702234°)  Pre-Bid meeting is not mandatory but it is strongly suggested that interested bidders attend.
 
The work on this project consists of clearing and grubbing, maintenance of access roads, installation of steel pipes and water control structures, seeding, supplying and placing rock riprap, supplying rock riprap and supplying crushed rock. 

Additional Notes/Requirements

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
