Sealed Bid Proposals will be received by the City of Tuscaloosa, at the Council Chamber of City   Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on October 11, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. local time for this project, at which time bids will be opened and read.
 
Pre-Bid Conference: Attendance at the MANDATORY Pre-Bid Conference is required in order for a General Contractor to submit a bid on this Project. The Pre-Bid Conference will be held at the Council Chamber of City Hall, 2201 University Boulevard, on October 4, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. local time.
 
Project Scope: Improvements to Kaulton Park, located at 2929 Pine Street, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, including: a new pavilion with restrooms, concrete walks and ramps: installation of Owner furnished park benches, swings, and grills; installation of decorative fencing; and installation of trees, plant material, preparation of soil and amendments, and irrigation System.                                                                                                                                                           
Award of the contract will be made within fifty (50) calendar days from the date of the bid opening.
 
Plans and Specifications:  Plans and specifications and all related Contract Documents are open for public inspection at Ward Scott Morris Architecture, Inc., designated as the office of the awarding authority for this purpose, located at 1606 Paul W. Bryant Drive, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401 and hard copy plans,  specifications  and  other  elements  of  the  contract  documents  may  be  obtained  from  TuscaBlue Printing and Sign Company, located at  2806 Greensboro Avenue, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35401 upon deposit of $150.00 per set.   The contact person for the project is Anne Corhern.  They can be reached at (205) 345-6110.
