1. Regarding the requirement for a Cashier’s Check Five Percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid, is it based on the quoted price multiplied by the approximate total quantity? 2. If we quote the exact brand, do we still need to send the sample? For example, for item number 99, Disinfectant Wipes – if we bid on the Clorox Disinfecting Wipes, do we still need to submit a sample?

1. YES, the Cashier's check needs to be equal to 5% of the total extended costs for all products that the vendor has bid upon. If products are not selected, that portion of the bid bond will be returned. If no products are selected, the entire check will be returned. 2. YES
