Ducks Unlimited, Inc., the Nation's leader in wetland conservation, is seeking bids for a project on the Tennessee NWR located in Benton County, Tennessee.
 
There will not be a Site Showing for this project, but interested contractors are strongly encouraged to visit the site prior to submitting a bid for this project.  Bids are due by 1:00 p.m. local time on November 19, 2021.
 
To get to the site, take Exit 133 (Birdsong Road) off I-40 east of Jackson, TN.  Go south on Birdsong Road for approximately 1.1 miles and turn left (south) onto Marina Ridge Road.  Follow Marina Ridge Road for 2.5 miles and it will dead end at the Morgan Creek Boat Launch. (North 35.83573° and West 89.97744°)  
 
The work on this project consists of removal and replacing the lower section of an existing concrete boat ramp, installing a concrete bulkhead, supplying and installing a floating courtesy dock and access gangway and placing rock riprap for shoreline protection.  The project is within the Kentucky Lake Pool of the Tennessee River.

Bids will be rejected if the bidder is not on DU’s pre-qualified contractors list. Bidders are encouraged to verify their pre-qualification prior to submitting a bid. Bids shall only be accepted from Prime Contractors with the necessary License Classifications required by the State Contracting Board to perform work outlined in the plans and technical specifications. It shall be the responsibility of the Prime Contractor to assure that he and all subcontractors comply with all state contracting laws.
