Sealed Bids will be received in the Purchasing Department, in the Rapides Parish School Board Office Building, 619 Sixth Street, Alexandria, Louisiana until 10:00 am, Friday, December 6, 2019 for
"SALE OF SALVAGE BUSES”
(BID NO 20-35)
After stamping to acknowledge timely receipt, bids will be publicly opened and read by the Executive Committee and/or staff of the Rapides Parish School Board. Sole responsibility for proper delivery of bid is that of the bidder. Any offer received after closing time (10:00 am, December 6, 2019) will be returned unopened. After tabulating the results of the bids, the Rapides Parish School Board, at its monthly board meeting, will award the each salvage bus to the highest bidder meeting all the requirements.
The Salvage Buses may be viewed at the location noted on the BID FORM from 1p.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
All bids must be accompanied by an original bid security equal to five (5%) of the total amount bid and must be in the form of a Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, Bank or Postal Money Order.
Bid information may be obtained by sending a request to firstname.lastname@example.org or from centralbidding.com; fees may be associated with the use of this site.
The Rapides Parish School Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids for just cause.
Bids may be submitted online through centralbidding.com or hand delivered or mailed. Mailed and hand delivered bids should be in Sealed bid envelopes, clearly marked on the outside: “Sale of Salvage Buses” (Bid No. 20-35) and delivered to:
