Sealed, written formal bid proposals for the above bid will be received by the City of McComb,
Mississippi, at McComb City Hall located at 115 3rd Street, McComb, Mississippi 39648, until 11:00
a.m. November 05, 2020, at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The City of McComb reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities, also to
withhold the acceptance of any bid if approved, for forty-five calendar days from the date bids are
opened.
Bid documents are being made available via electronic copy. Plan holders are required to register for an
account at www.m3aarchplans.com to view Bid Documents. Printed copies are not available through
the Architect. Plan holders will be responsible for their own reproduction cost. Questions regarding

All Contractors who intend to submit “BIDS” are REQUIRED to attend the MANDATORY pre-bid
conference at the MLK Center 601 MLK Dr., McComb, Mississippi 39648 on Thursday, October 22,
2020, at 10:00 AM local prevailing time.
The successful bidder will be allowed three hundred (300) calendar days from the date of issuance of
Notice to Proceed to complete the project. Liquidated damages will be assessed at $1,000.00 per day for
each calendar day the work is not substantially complete.
All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and
all alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check or a Bid Bond written by a
company licensed to do business in Mississippi.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance and a Payment Bond written by a
company licensed to do business in Mississippi, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract
amount
